Dear Readers,
Radhekrishna!

In the previous article, we discussed about the concept of 'penance' & issues related to it. The asuras performed penance to obtain tremendous amount of energy to rule the three worlds whereas the rishis did the same to obtain energy to do good to mankind. The motives were different but the common consequence was obtaining of energy. We also mentioned that the body has 9 openings. In this article, we continue the discussion.

When the rishi's are about to begin the meditation, they close all these 9 openings by a special yogic closure called BANDHANAM. This means, their bodies became similar to the closed atomic reactors.

The human body is very special. It is very advanced as compared to trees, animals & other living things. Hence getting birth as a human being is considered very precious & it is the best chance to get salvation or mukthi. The Vedha’s proclaim that, whatever you see in the entire universe is kept inside a human body, in the form of an egg, paving way for the sprout in to the form of a progeny.

The atomic reactor can accommodate a limited amount of atoms. But the human body can accommodate millions and millions of atoms. Thus these atoms are simultaneously bombarded by the power of the motor nerve impulses sent in the form of RADHEKRISHNA chanting or OHM chanting.

For each and every chanting, an atom especially an electron is forced to travel in one direction, say towards the opening namely ears. But for the other Radhekrishna chanting, one more atom will be directed say towards the mouth. Thus this visualization, will lead to the moving of innumerable electrons, traveling in random directions, looking for an outlet, but of no avail. The electrons were forced and bombarded within the atomic reactor namely the human body by the rishis through meditation & chanting.

After years of such an exercise, the power attained by them was no less than the power possessed in an atom bomb. The body of the rishi became like an atom bomb, ready to explode.

This situation of a person possessing tremendous amount of energy has been discussed earlier in our articles in a different context under a different topic. That topic being of Nammazhvar's extraordinary power display to vanquish the Sadam Vayu.

We shall briefly describe that topic & then move ahead to link the same with the main theme of this article i.e. penance and energy

But that shall be in our next article.
Till then Radhekrishna!

Dear Readers,
Radhekrishna!

A very happy deepavali to all the readers of Science and Hinduism blog.

In this article, we begin by explaining some new concepts and then we will link the concepts to something which we have discussed in our earlier articles.

We will disclose the theme of this article as we move on.

The RISHI’s (sages) sit in meditation, for years together. This is termed as 'Tapas' (penance). As per Hinduism, a person gets a huge amount of energy by doing 'Tapas'. In the ancient times, the asuras (demons) used to do tapas for several years to please the demi–gods and obtain the boon sought by them from those demi–gods.

To put it in layman's terms, tapas is an action doing which there is a huge inflow of energy. In doing tapas, a person constantly chants either the name of the demi–god whom he wishes to please or a powerful word like 'OM' etc.

A person after completing the tapas, can be compared to a reservoir. Just as a dam is a reservoir of water, the person who has completed the tapas is a reservoir of energy.

He may even be well described as a transformer of very high voltage current kept in it, ready for use.

When a man receives a shock from a transformer, say a very high voltage shock, he will naturally be charred to death. What does it all mean? The sudden explosion of very huge energy kept dormant over a long period, brings in complete destruction.

The same logic goes with the atom bomb. When an atom is bombarded within a closed atomic reactor, it is kept dormant and suppressed for a long time. It becomes all powerful, over a period of time. It is capable of destruction when it gets transformed into an atom bomb.

There are 9 openings in the human body:
First and Second are the two eyes;
Third and Fourth are the two ears;
Fifth and Sixth are the two nostrils;
Seventh is the mouth
Eighth is the genital
Ninth and the last is the anus.

The nine openings mentioned above are significant to the context described earlier related to 'tapas' and also the working and making of the atom bomb.

How is that? Let us see in the next article.

Till then do lots of chanting of Radhekrishna namam this deepavali and experience the difference in your lives.
